The Object of Your Faith

Tim Keller tweeted this yesterday, “It is not the strength of your faith but the object of your faith that actually saves you.  Trust the work of Jesus Christ.”

This stuck out to me because I had just read this account in Mark 9 earlier that morning.  The father in this story knew he had a need, but he wasn’t sure that his faith was strong enough for his need to be met.  However, the best way he knew how, he declared his belief in Jesus, and Jesus took care of the rest.

If you will put whatever faith you have in what Jesus accomplished through his death and resurrection, your life will be changed forever!

“It is not the strength of your faith but the object of your faith that actually saves you.  Trust the work of Jesus Christ.”
