Portrait of Redemption

Last Sunday, we kicked off a new series at New Church called “Family Portrait.”

This teaching series reminds me that God wants to take us from where we are now to where he wants us to be, no matter what our families look like.

Week one was about how God uses imperfect people to tell his story of redemption and restoration.  Jeremy Martin, our Next Generation Pastor, did a tremendous job communicating this truth through the story of Hosea.

Volunteer Leader Spotlight: Josh Sizemore

Josh Sizemore is the focus of this week’s Volunteer Leader Spotlight.  Josh, and his wife, Jessica, were the first couple that committed to be a part of the New Church Launch Team.

Josh teaches math to middle school students and is in graduate school pursuing his masters degree in accounting.  He’s also the proud father of a newborn baby boy named James.

In addition to overseeing the video aspect of production for our Sunday morning worship experiences, Josh also provides insight into how to most effectively organize and structure the financial systems of New Church.

I’m grateful for Josh’s willingness to dedicate his time, energy, and resources to what God has called us to do through New Church for his glory!
