You can click on the icon to the left to read the latest edition of the New Church newsletter.  It includes a video of our first ever Baptism Party, Volunteer Leader Spotlights from the month of May, and the teaser video from our current teaching series, “The WARRIOR.”

Thank you to those who continue to support what God has called us to do through prayer and through giving financially!  If you’re in the Winston-Salem area, we would love to have you as our guest in our Sunday morning worship experience!

Mind of The WARRIOR

Week 2 of The WARRIOR series dealt with “The Mind of The WARRIOR.”  The main point of the message was pretty simple: Input Determines Output!

In other words, what we put into our hearts and minds will determine our actions and what we say.  To hear more, you can listen to the entire message by clicking HERE.

Volunteer Leader Spotlight: Dustin Williams

June 7, 2011 1 comment

This week’s Volunteer Leader Spotlight is focused on Dustin Williams.  Dustin is married to one of our staff members, Sabrina, and together they have 3 beautiful daughters, Chloe, Laken, and Kamdyn.  Dustin works for AT&T as a Customer Service Agent in the repair department.

On Sunday mornings, Dustin serves in our Newkidz area as a small group leader, and he also runs the media during the large group teaching time.  In addition to his roles in Newkidz, he is a huge help with set-up on Sunday mornings.

Thank you, Dustin, for all you do to help make New Church a fun place for elementary aged kids to learn about Jesus!  We’re glad you’re a part of the Volunteer Leader Team!

Purity of The WARRIOR

You Must Make Purity a Priority! This was the main idea for week one of “The Warrior” teaching series at New Church.

We looked at the story of David and Bathsheba and the steps David took down the Path to Devastation.  We also looked at some practical ways we can make purity a priority.
